SCHOLARS IN OUR MIDST:
The Town scholarship committee had their hands full selecting this year’s TOP scholarship recipients. Each year, scholarships are awarded to students that demonstrate a spirit of public service, volunteerism, and show promise of leadership and future contributions to their communities. After much consideration, the Town selected four very deserving GVHS students to receive $1,000 scholarships each. This amount is a substantial increase to previous years, thanks to the Town Council’s generous contribution that was approved as part of the 2024 budget process.
Mayor Tom Rugaard presented the scholarships at the Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 23rd at Grand Valley High School. Congrats Seniors!
