LIFT-UP is excited to announce the Grand Opening of its Parachute Thrift Store, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 17, 2024, followed by a full day of celebration on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Located at 201 East 1st Street, Parachute, CO, this reopening marks an important milestone for the community, providing much-needed access to affordable goods while supporting LIFT-UP’s hunger relief programs.
The Parachute store is reopening after being repurposed during the pandemic to serve as a warehouse for LIFT-UP’s emergency food distribution program. This allowed the organization to address the growing need for food security as many residents were impacted by the pandemic. Now, the store is ready to welcome shoppers again, offering a wide variety of gently used clothing, home goods, and unique finds at affordable prices. All proceeds will go directly to LIFT-UP’s hunger relief initiatives, supporting families from Parachute to Aspen.
