The Town of Parachute is requesting voters to submit pro and con statements regarding Ballot Issue 2B for the November 5, 2024, election. This ballot measure proposes a 0.5% increase in the Town’s sales tax to support the Streets & Alley Fund and capital improvement projects. The proposed tax would exclude essential items like groceries, fuel, residential utilities, services, most medications, and long-term real estate leases.
