This fall’s allocation of Garfield County Federal Mineral Lease District grants totals nearly $1.54 million, according to Garfield County news release.
Of this funding cycle, about $1.41 million was awarded through seven grants in the Traditional Grant Program. Another $124,000 was awarded through six grants in the Mini Grant Program, the release states.
“Since its inception in 2011, the Garfield County Federal Mineral Lease District Board of Directors has awarded 315 grants totaling $34,146,772.83, including $100,000.00 in Grantee of the Year Awards, and the awards listed above,” the release states.
The Town of Parachute was awarded two grants during the fall 2023 cycle:
- Traditional Grant: $460,000 for Wasson McKay House
- Mini Grant: $25,000 for Police Vehicle Replacement
