The Mesa County Sheriff's Office responded to a call for service in collaboration with the Garfield County Sheriff's Office and Parachute Police Department. Of the units who responded, five of them were female law enforcement officers. As four of them debriefed after the call, a quick thinking GCSO deputy snapped this picture recognizing how unique the moment was - four females representing three agencies working together on a call. From left to right: GCSO Deputy G Herrera, MCSO Deputy Simona Nikolovska, GCSO Deputy A Cid, and PPD Officer E Gonzalez. Deputy Nikolette Nequette (not shown) from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office also responded. We're thankful to have great law enforcement partners!
